Hey! I’m Sarah, a pediatric occupational therapist currently practicing in the school-based setting.
Prior to my transition to schools, I landed my first-ever OT job at a pediatric outpatient clinic. As a new grad in this setting, I felt a bit lost and overwhelmed by imposter syndrome. This sparked my decision to start the Sarah Bee OT Instagram account!
Sharing my treatment ideas with others helped me build confidence as a new practitioner and sparked my creativity. I was instantly hooked on being able to connect with other therapists around the globe and provide them with inspiration for their own sessions!
During this same time, I started making activity worksheets to use with my clients at the clinic. After showing these homemade resources to my coworkers and getting positive feedback, I decided to post them on Teachers Pay Teachers! This “side hustle” that started out of necessity quickly grew into a passion, and now I can’t imagine life without the Sarah Bee OT community!
